Lygon Therapy is a pair of beautifully restored Victorian terraces on the northern fringe of the city.  It has views of tree lined streets, Melbourne University and parkland.  We are easily accessible by bike or public transport and there is ample street parking and some on-site parking.

At Lygon Therapy independent practitioners offer counselling and psychotherapy for individuals, couples and groups.  We also have other personal development and wellness programs that include mindfulness and yoga.

Lygon Therapy is the home to the Gestalt Centre an internationally recognized training centre.  They have weekly classes, a student intern clinic and many other professional development activities.

Yoga Informed Psychotherapy

This program is now full -- Contact us to go on the waiting list

Wednesday, October 30th, 2019

This 2-hour Gestalt Project Seminar will be a beginning exploration of the ways that somatic practices like yoga can support therapists to more fully embody their experience, as a way to enhance their therapeutic presence and phenomenological work.  This, in turn, will support clients' awareness processes.

This seminar will also be an introduction to a brand new training program Yoga Informed Psychotherapy to be launched soon for 2020.

Who am I with you?

Starting 7th of November, 2019

Thursdays 6-8pm

This 6-week course explores mindfulness and relationships.  We spend much of our lives in relation to others, whether it be an intimate partner, family, friends or co-workers. Indeed, we are products of relationships. While our relationships with others can be a source of great joy, they can also be the cause of anxiety and conflict. Wouldn’t it be useful to understand more about how we “do” relationships?
