Esther Ogilvie
Esther Ogilvie is a registered therapist specialising in trauma recovery, somatic embodiment, and sexuality, supporting individuals and couples to deepen connection with themselves, their bodies, and their relationships. With over a decade of experience, she brings a deeply intersectional, neuro affirming, and trauma-informed approach to therapy, education, and group facilitation.
Her work spans a broad spectrum of areas, including trauma and nervous system regulation, anxiety and depression, emotional healing, somatic- body based therapy, family violence, interpersonal dynamics, and sex- and sexuality-related challenges. Esther holds a strong commitment to creating safe, inclusive spaces for people of all identities and bodies—including LGBTQIA+ communities, CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) and sex workers.
Her body-based, somatic, and holistic approach draws from attachment theory, somatic experiencing, emotion-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based modalities such as ACT, EFT, IFS, and transpersonal therapy. She integrates a lens of social justice and systemic oppression, supporting clients to reclaim agency, embodiment, and empowerment within the broader cultural contexts that shape their experience.
Esther specialises in nervous system regulation, trauma integration, menstrual and cyclical health, somatic therapy, family and domestic violence, mental health and relational healing, guiding clients toward emotional resilience, authenticity, and empowerment. Esther has specialised and has a passion for cultural and societal issues surrounding gender issues and the healthy expression of them. Her warm, grounded, and non-judgemental presence emphasises the importance of joy, humour, and play in the healing process.
Whether working with individuals or couples, Esther explores conscious kink, non-monogamy, tantra, and non-violent communication—always with a focus on consent, safety, and authentic self-expression. She believes healing is a personal and collective journey toward greater wholeness, aliveness, and connection
