Jamie Shanahan
About Me I support individuals in gaining a deeper understanding of how they relate
to themselves, others, and the worlds they live and work in.
I encourage my clients to re-examine the stories they hold about themselves—their
origins and how these narratives might limit them. Together, we explore the
possibility of rewriting these stories in a way that reflects their current self, opening
space for something new to emerge.
Before moving into the mental health field, I spent nearly two decades as a
professional athlete. This experience gave me first hand insight into the pressures of
high performance and the motivations that drive people toward these careers. I also
draw on my experiences as a coach, management professional, father, and partner.
Working with a Gestalt-informed approach, my aim is to provide a safe and
supportive space where we can collaborate openly and respectfully. I value genuine
connection, authenticity, and kindness.
