Katerina is a registered Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience working within public and private mental health settings. She understands that seeking psychological therapy can be a daunting process. She aims to provide a warm, welcoming and approachable environment where individuals can ensure that they will be met where they are at. She is dedicated to tailoring treatment to client preferences and needs, that is, whether they prefer short-term cognitive and behavioural change, or a deeper understanding of their attachments, relationships and personal histories.

Katerina is experienced in treating a diverse range of psychological concerns and disorders such as mood disorders, personality disorders, paraphilias and addiction disorders. She has a special interest in treating complex and long-term issues related to traumatic life events and sexual wellbeing. Katerina is also experienced in providing treatment for issues following traumatic events and grief. She is also experienced in using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and complex trauma.

Additionally, Katerina enjoys working with LGBTIQA+ identifying individuals and strives to provide a warm and non-judgmental environment for those that feel marginalised or otherwise subjugated by society.
