Linda Tilgner
Linda is a AHPRA registered Counselling Psychologist and Clinical Fellow of Australian Catholic University.
Linda provides therapy to individuals and couples. Linda works in a collaborative manner, based on the assessment of client needs and goals, with such concerns as adjustment and life transitions, anxiety and stress, disordered eating/eating disorders, grief and loss, personal development, strength and identity, relationship difficulties/couples counselling, and trauma.
Linda is trained in a number of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Gottman Relationship Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Schema Therapy, Trauma focused approaches, Parts Therapy, EFT (for individuals and couples) and Metacognitive Therapy. Linda uses an integrative focus to tailor therapy for best fit to each client.
Linda is an AHPRA registered supervisor, providing individual and group supervision to provisional and fully registered psychologists, social workers, and psychotherapists.
In addition to therapy and supervision, Linda has over 10 years’ experience in running therapeutic groups.
Linda was actively involved in the APS College of Counselling Psychologists Vic Committee for 9 years and has provided professional consultancy to a range of agencies.
